Meta-Learning
Frequently Asked Questions
1. When should we use metaverse learning?
We believe that the biggest feature of the metaverse is its ability to establish social connections between users, breaking through geographical and spatial limitations. Therefore, if you need to connect with colleagues from different regions, or simulate certain situations that are difficult to establish in reality, metaverse learning can be a useful tool.
2. Is metaverse learning reliable?
We have been delivering metaverse learning since 2022. As of May 2023, as many as 11 companies and schools, with 700 participants, have participated in our courses. No matter your team are in the same classroom or in different countries, we can help them establish and enhance team spirit.
3. Is metaverse learning only applicable during the pandemic?
Certainly not. The metaverse is actually similar to the online learning platforms we are currently using. It can also be used for online learning, video playing, and testing. Furthermore, the metaverse offers a more realistic environment for participants to experience different situations. Therefore, if you need to connect with participants from different regions or when there are certain situations that are difficult to establish and simulate, metaverse learning is the best choice for you.
4. What is the difference between metaverse learning and virtual reality (VR) learning?
Both can establish simulated scenarios for players, and the biggest feature of the metaverse is to establish social connections between players, which is more suitable for situations where multiple players need to be in the same virtual environment at the same time.
5. Will you feel dizzy during activities in the metaverse?
One of the reasons for VR-induced dizziness is the deviation between visual perception and body perception. This discomfort occurs when the brain is informed visually that you are moving, but the body is not physically moving. This is similar to motion sickness. To alleviate this discomfort, we can control the magnitude of the visual movement. Similarly, in the metaverse, we can limit the magnitude of the player’s movement each time to address this issue.
6. Can people with nearsightedness wear VR headsets?
Of course. Our VR equipment has enough space for players to wear glasses. In addition, we can also provide magnetically-attached lenses to solve the problem of nearsightedness.
